DREAM TRAIN I look out of my window On a misty, rainy day, And listen to the wind blow While my thoughts are far away. The memory of your face is like A raindrop on the glass, And the thought of miles between us like the next drop joins the last. The droplets run together, and They trickle down the pain As I wonder when and whether I will see your face again. Now the window's steamy And it rattles with the rain. The rhythm makes me dreamy And I dream I ride a train. The Patter of the rain Becomes the clatter of the wheels That race me to your side But when I wake up it's not real.
